When Covid-19 got serious I was wondering one, would there even be a season out here happening still, and two if there was would I even make it out to play as my flights kept getting pushed back and cancelled. I was also thinking how crazy this whole thing and was, literally it was the last thing that anyone would have expected. Would there even be a football season? I went back and forth with the thought but it definitely was very questionable

As for handling the virus I feel like everything was done the right way in Finland which is good and it is why we’re able to have a season now which is great for everyone. Even though it’s shortened there was still a way to make it happen. With our first game being today versus the Helsinki Wolverines there are definitely some mixed emotions in there, but most of all I’m excited just to be here despite everything that’s happened this year which makes it that much more special.

I’m excited about the group of guys we have. It’s mutual between all of us and I’m glad that everyone is walking around with confidence knowing what we’re capable of doing. We have a great head coach in Samu who all the players trust and believe in which has created a different type of energy this year. When I step on the field today I’m going to be thankful and excited that I’m finally here.

To our fans, you know what type of person and player that I am, and I look to provide nothing less than 100 percent effort every time I step on the field. I look forward to a great a special year cause we’re looking to provide you with something special
